Mathematical Estimation of Endogenous Proline as a Bioindicator to Regulate the Stress of Trivalent Chromium on Rice Plants Grown in Different Nitrogenous Conditions

چکیده

The accumulation of proline impacts the defense mechanisms plants against harmful effects adverse environmental conditions; however, its concentration in is associated with metabolism N. Therefore, exogenous organic [glutamate (Glu)/arginine (Arg)] and inorganic [nitrate (NO3−)/ammonium (NH4+)] N on (Pro) rice under trivalent chromium [Cr(III)] stress were studied through using mass balance matrix model (MBMM). Application ‘NH4+’ showed largest contribution to Pro content shoots different concentrations Cr(III), followed by ‘NO3−’, ‘Arg’, ‘Glu’ applications. On other hand, ‘Arg’ application displayed roots Cr(III) stress, ‘NH4+’, ‘Glu’, ‘NO3−’ combined ‘NH4++Arg’ greatest both Cr(III)-treated seedlings, while ‘NO3−+Glu’ least seedlings. current study indicated that endogenous level seedlings quite sensitive sources, mathematical modeling a reliable result estimating relationship between source application.

Responses of endogenous proline in rice seedlings under chromium exposure

Hydroponic experiments were performed to exam the dynamic change of endogenous proline in rice seedlings exposed to potassium chromate chromium (VI) or chromium nitrate chromium (III). Although accumulation of both chromium species in rice seedlings was obvious, more chromium was detected in plant tissues of rice seedlings exposed to chromium (III) than those in chromium (VI), majority being in...

the effect of taftan pozzolan on the compressive strength of concrete in the environmental conditions of oman sea (chabahar port)

cement is an essential ingredient in the concrete buildings. for production of cement considerable amount of fossil fuel and electrical energy is consumed. on the other hand for generating one tone of portland cement, nearly one ton of carbon dioxide is released. it shows that 7 percent of the total released carbon dioxide in the world relates to the cement industry. considering ecological issu...

from linguistics to literature: a linguistic approach to the study of linguistic deviations in the turkish divan of shahriar

chapter i provides an overview of structural linguistics and touches upon the saussurean dichotomies with the final goal of exploring their relevance to the stylistic studies of literature. to provide evidence for the singificance of the study, chapter ii deals with the controversial issue of linguistics and literature, and presents opposing views which, at the same time, have been central to t...

critical period effects in foreign language learning:the influence of maturational state on the acquisition of reading, writing, and grammar in english as a foreign language

since the 1960s the age effects on learning both first and second language have been explored by many linguists and applied linguists (e.g lennerberg, 1967; schachter, 1996; long, 1990) and the existence of critical period for language acquisition was found to be a common ground of all these studies. in spite of some common findings, some issues about the impacts of age on acquiring a second or...
